The idea to create POINT SOLEIL Provence came after the enormous demands we had from family, friends and later on friends of friends to show them the Provence but in a special way.
They wanted to visit the basic spots, those "you must have seen", but also the unknown area's to discover the real life in Provence. Little by little we learned more and more about our region and we ended up with our address book full of good restaurants, scenic roads, fine wine cellars and the very special addresses that are so typical of Provence (lavender, olive oil, pottery...).
Our guests were always so enthusiastic about our tours that we decided to turn these occasional guidings into our full-time occupation.

We design customized trips for the independent traveler with special interest: culture, history, art, craft, nature... For those who have their own itinerary in mind we offer private tours that meets their demands.

We are both English speaking so there will be no language problems. When joining us you will be the unencumbered traveler free to enjoy your journey without worry.

Catherine is a Provençal native, she studied Art and History.

Henriette, a Dutch native,arrived in Provence in her teens and studied History of art  in Aix en Provence. As a foreigner she developed a special love for the Provençal art of living and for the irresistible funny local habits.
